More Pets Need Homes After 'Clear the Shelters' Campaign - NBC Connecticut

She kept the best upright vacuum on returning to me. Hundreds of pets discovered their forever homes throughout NBCConnecticut's "Clear the Shelters" project, yet numerous are still waiting to be adopted.

We quite excited to see Skipper go home, claimed Jennifer Kanaitis, of Load Leaders Rescue.

Skipper is not the only one.

Forty-seven pets were taken on from Load Leaders Rescue during "Clear the Shelters" on Saturday. There are still a few looking for a new your home.

Among those is Jazzy, a high-energy pointer-pit bull mix which would certainly make a terrific friend for a person active.

"Shes really pleasant, nurturing, really sweet female," said Kanaitis.

Dozens of hoover pet hair more dogs are expected to turn up here quickly seeking brand-new residences. A fostering occasion is planned at PetSmart in Manchester on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m.

Erin Turner embraced her buddy, Penelope, and urges others to also consider saving an animal.

"I knew it was implied to be. I couldnt leave her, so I embraced her," claimed Turner.
